Zion preschool gives your child a unique combination of skills. It
is so nice to be able to teach qualities like socialization, sharing, attending, and
academics in a Christian atmosphere. We have a totally positive attitude to your
child's learning and needs. We use Bible Stories, games, activities, dance, song,
and various field trips to enhance our studies. The preschool class averages about
one trip a month. We also have a trip to Kramm's nursing home in Watsontown each
month. this is rotated between the morning and afternoon classes. We do
crafts, cook, have parties, etc. with the residents. I hope to prepare the children
for kindergarten in all ways but the most important thing is that they be spiritually
ready. This is accomplished by making preschool learning so much fun that they get a
very positive start on their long life of education.

This special group was created in 2000 as a memorial to Alta Fausnaught. She was a church member who was involved in the preschool program as a teacher's helper. This group is for children age 3 by September 1st of their year of application. - Application
